Hernando De Soto I-40 Bridge Closure
Although it is currently national news and many probably already know, we want to make sure to inform everyone that the Hernando De Soto I-40 Bridge across the Mississippi River is currently closed. All planning a visit to the National Bird Dog Museum, including for the June Hall of Fame ceremonies, from west of the Mississippi River should allow for extra time getting across the river due to detours and heavy traffic. According to the Tennessee Department of Transportation, the bridge will be closed indefinitely to repair structural damage. The closure will last for months at the minimum, so it will still be closed during the Hall of Fame ceremonies.
